Philadelphia, PA - South Africa's Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Amb. Ebrahim Rasool visited the Sub-Saharan Africa Chamber of Commerce to discuss international trade and investment with the Republic of South Africa. He touted the recent market entry of South African navels (oranges) into the United States retail market and encouraged greater trade and investment between his country and the United States.
The Sub-Saharan Africa Chamber of Commerce organized an exclusive interview for Ambassador Rasool with the Wharton School's Knowledge@Wharton online journal. He discussed foreign direct investment into Africa, South Africa's Role in Africa's Renaissance, FDI strategies, South Africa's currency, the Broad Based Black Economic Empowerment initiative, the recent FIFA World Cup which was hosted by South Africa and many more subjects of interest.
